GIS Cloud Speaks at Geomob London
On Thursday September 15, GIS Cloud attended Geomob London where Dino Ravnic, GIS Cloud’s CEO, was invited to speak to a group of professionals and students at UCL. Dino held a 15 minute presentation of the GIS Cloud application and new HTML5 viewer that we are introducing in the next few days.
Presenting to a very interesting group of young people, who all share a love for geo and new technologies was quite an experience. The powerful HTML5 viewer offered a peek at new possibilities of data visualization supported by hardware strength drawn from the cloud. This demo definitely raised some awarenes about GIS in the cloud which makes us really excited.
Geomob LDN is a quarterly meetup for geo and mobile developers organized by Lokku. There were three other speakers presenting projects related to LBS, mobile, social networks, data mining, and geospatial software. For more information see geomobldn.org.
