What is WFS?

The Open Geospatial Consortium Web Feature Service Interface Standard (WFS) provides an interface allowing requests for geographical features (points, lines, and polygons) across the web using platform-independent calls.

As we are covering how to use the OGC standards in GIS Cloud, in this video we are showing you how to add a Web Feature Service to your maps and projects in Map Editor. Also, what do you do in a scenario where your WFS doesn’t match your other data like a base map? Not to worry, we covered that in the video as well.
